Fictive Redesign for swedishepa.se

The task

Within the Graphic Design and Communication studies during my foreign semester at the University of Linköping, the task of a course was to develop a redesign of the webpages of the Swedish National Parks. The aim was to explore, to think through, to elaborate design patterns of Tidwell and then apply these design patterns to the final result.

Final results

The process

During the elaboration in Photoshop, I also worked on basic solutions for different aspects of the webpage. After choosing a solution, I worked on it in more detail.

The sketchbook

By creating many sketches, many ideas, solutions and navigation concepts were generated which resulted into several alternatives where I could chose from. These were partly evaluated with the help of a +/- list concerning their advantages and disadvantages, in order to make the selection from the alternatives more fundamentally.
